BOYNE FALLS, Mich., May 25, 2021 – ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp today announced that Nick Lambert, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the company’s Sunday River Resort in Maine and Gatlinburg SkyLift Park in Tennessee has been named ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Nick will succeed current CMO Ian Arthur, effective June 1, 2021. Ian, who joined the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp team in 2016, recently announced his retirement as CMO and will serve as an advisor.

“Nick is assuredly the ideal candidate to lead the marketing support necessary as we execute long-term development plans at our resorts across North America—each including aggressive goals and growth projections,” said Stephen Kircher, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp. “We conducted an extensive search for the right person to match the immense success Ian is credited with during his tenure. Nick’s experience and qualifications became the baseline in evaluating all candidates and with him also being a widely trusted leader, he proved to be a natural successor.”

The company’s CMO selection was finalized in March and the transition process was quickly initiated. Working side-by-side since that time, Ian and Nick accomplished a seamless handoff of responsibilities and met the date targeted for Ian’s retirement. Thoughtful planning enabled a smooth transition.

Nick was welcomed at Sunday River in 1996 as a member of its sales and marketing team. After steadily earning additional responsibilities, he earned the department’s vice president position in 2010. He is credited with creation of the popular New England Pass following ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp’ 2007 acquisition of Sunday River, Sugarloaf, and Loon Mountain Resort. In 2019, he took on leadership of Gatlinburg SkyLift Park’s marketing efforts and helped that team navigate to become one of the fastest growing attractions in the country.

“Being named ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵapp’ next CMO is truly an honor, especially at a time when the company is underway with many game changing developments,” said Nick Lambert, Boyne’s new CMO. “We have an exceptional marketing team and I am looking forward to the opportunity to work together in continuing to elevate the performance of our resorts in the years ahead.”

Nick will report to Stephen Kircher. He and his family live near Sunday River and in his new role, he will remain based in Maine.
